How much does it cost?
Pilott Electronic Logbook costs $2.50 for the month paid anually.

What payment options do you offer?
Payments are made online using the payment gateway Payfast.

What devices is Pilott Electronic Logbook compatible with ?
Pilott Electronic Logbook is web based and is developed to be compatible with all browsers, on most devices. Dedicated apps are also available for Android, iOS and Apple Watch.

Do you offer other logbook formats?
Yes, we currently offer the SACAA and ICAO formats but are actively developing support for the FAA format.

Is Pilott Electronic Logbook a complete product?

Do you have an app available?
Yes, we have apps available for Android, iOS and Apple Watch.

Do I have to pay extra for the app on top of my subscription?
Absolutely not. The apps are free to download and you can use the app or the web version or both with your subscription!

Does the app work offline?
Yes, you can do basic functions such as adding entries in offline mode. Other features will be limited while in offline mode.
Logbook Imports and Exports

This is my first electronic logbook. How can I upload my physical logbook into Pilott ?
You can add your previous flying experience to your profile and continue logging your flight hours on Pilott just like a normal logbook. We also offer a data entry service should you wish to have your physical logbook loaded entry by entry into your Pilott profile. Get in touch with us for pricing.

Will I have access to my data should I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you will be able to access your profile and data. You will be able to export it anytime, however you won't be able to create new entries.

Can I import data from other electronic logbooks into Pilott?
Yes, simply email your export files to support@pilottaviation.com and we will do our best to import your data to your profile.

Can I export data from pilott to other electronic logbooks?
Yes, you can currently export your data to CSV format, we will offer support for other formats in the future based on customer needs. Our aim is to provide an open platform where customers have the freedom to leave to another electronic logbook should they not be happy with our product and our export options will be tailored to reflect this.

Is my data protected?
Yes, all your data is handled confidentially and all web traffic is encrypted with industry standard 256-bit encryption.

Who owns my logbook data?
Your logbook entries belong to you, and you will therefore still have access to it and also have functionality to export your logbook entries even if you cancel your subscription.

Do you sell any data to third-party companies?
No, we don't.
